A Year in Da Life...

2010! Thank you Jesus! You're finally here! Geez, what the hell happened? It all started out like Mr. Rogers. Everything was so sweet. New black president ready to change the world...

Then Michael had to go and die on us! Nooo!! That still hurts ya'll...damn.

But among all those big moments of the year, none can compare to the loss of my grandmother. In her passing, I found myself growing in ways I never would have otherwise. I finally understood life the way she always explained it. Love and compassion. That what its all about. If you don't have that, you don't have life. That is all we have in this little make-believe world. I miss her everyday.

And somehow life still goes on....
